Since the early 1970’s, RAK Ports has steadily grown from a single port which exclusively handled bulk cargo, into the major, diverse international industrial and manufacturing hub that it is today.
Our future development roadmap, which has recently included a massive project to construct two capesize berths at Saqr Port, incorporates further investment and development into creating new Free Zone areas via land reclamation, significantly growing the annual volume of bulk cargo exported from Ras al Khaimah, and expanding our commercial footprint to a wider international audience.
