RAK Ports’ marine and anchorage division provides a suite of first class services, supported by a modern fleet of vessels and highly advanced technical equipment, operating across all our port on a 24/7 basis and executed to best practice international standards.

• Our modern fleet of includes tugs, a survey vessel, and pilot vessels.
• Deep water anchorage zones off Saqr Port can be utilized for layup, repair, surveys, berth waiting, inspections, crew changes, rig stacking, underwater surveys and ship chandlery.
• The marine department utilises state-of-the-art equipment including Teledyne Reson SeaBat multi-beam systems, with 512 beams and a Teledyne Seabotics vLBV300 ROV system, enabling the provision of comprehensive, high quality and reliable data.
• Our marine department operates 24/7 and is staffed by a highly experienced team of pilots, tug crew, engineers, technicians, hydrographic surveyors, GIS analysts and VTS operators.
• Anchorage zones are up to 60 metres deep and are extended to 10 nautical miles offshore, making them suitable for all vessel sizes.
