Nothing like a job well done! – RAS AL KHAIMAH

RAK Ports and @Emirates Tech recently teamed up to deploy two @MetOcean data buoys on behalf of RAK EPDA. The deployment was made using the versatile RAK Ports Multicat “Hobby”. This is part of ongoing research efforts in Ras Al Khaimah to enhance understanding and management of our most important natural resources. The coastline of RAK now has five such buoys deployed and RAK EPDA has kindly given access to the buoy closest to Saqr Port in order to provide live tidal/current information, specifically speed and direction. Cooperation across government entities strengthens our connections to each other and helps us to provide better, more sustainable services.
